Description
FRENCH MORTAR - 1680
At the end of the 17th century, this 30 cm mortar was one of the main weapons of all major French fortresses. The caliber, which was considerably large for the time, suggests a projectile weight of over 100 kg, but due to the extremely short barrel, its accuracy was low.
