The original mill, surrounded by a romantic landscape,
was built in 1825 and has been in operation ever since.
The two waterwheels of the original mill are driven by water falling onto the wheels from above,
the two wheels turning in opposite directions.
The model has a motor (12-16 V, AC voltage),
which also moves the log frame saw up and down.
