This shed is based on a prototype in Saxony and is particularly suitable for small narrow gauge locos,
such as those made by Technomodell, Tillig and ROCO.
The gates can be opened by hand.
The gantry crane was a typical item of repair equipment for steam locomotives in small depots.
When used with narrow gauge track with 2.1 mm rail height:
Clear gate height 43 mm,
clear gate width 32 mm,
distance between track centres 44 mm.
For narrow gauge locos with an overall length up to 135 mm.
