Description
Simple, reliable coupling device for installation in sailplane models as well as power models serving as glider tugs.In the case of the sailplane the release gear should be installed as close as possible to the bow, along the centerline of the model.
On the power model the release gear can be mounted atop a low pylon.
This type to installation permits operation of the model both as a glider tug or for banner towing duties.
The release gear operates reliably even if the glider is not lined up with the tug while climbing to altitude.
