? Heavy-Duty 4-Axle, 8-Wheel Tow Truck with Premium Silver Pre-Painted Body ? The FH Series is the flagship of Volvo trucks, debuting in 2012. This R/C model kit recreates the heavy-duty tow truck variant built on a 4-axle 8x4 chassis, powered by the top-spec 750hp engine and fitted with recovery equipment designed to tow large trucks and buses. The realistically reproduced cab and rear body come factory pre-painted in sleek Aluminum Silver, finished with a premium urethane clear topcoat. By simply painting fine details like the window moldings in black, a heavy, metallic-looking body can be easily achieved. The front grille features stainless steel photo-etched parts to sharpen its look, and the interior is also partially recreated. All storage compartment doors on the rear body can be opened. The eye-catching recovery mechanism utilizes numerous metal parts; the crane boom, underlift, and outriggers can be extended manually. The chassis utilizes a ladder frame configuration with aluminum channel side rails. It features a front-mounted TR Mighty-Tuned motor (35T) paired with an assembly-type 3-speed transmission. Gear changes can be made while driving via R/C operation, allowing you to enjoy towing another 1/14 R/C tractor head.

Electric Actuator Set for 1/14 R/C Tow Truck (sold separately): An assembly kit that allows you to operate the crane boom and underlift up and down via your R/C transmitter. It consists of spindle cylinders driven by high-precision geared motors, an ACU-02 control unit to govern the motors, and a manual operation switch.

? Euro-Style Multi-Function Control Unit (MFC-03) (sold separately): This multi-function control unit features a built-in ESC that enables normal as well as extreme low-speed (crawl) driving. It synchronizes various realistic truck sounds and body vibrations with driving actions to create a powerful presence. The engine sounds are sourced from a real, large-displacement diesel engine; the sound changes dynamically according to speed, from idling to full throttle. Additionally, nearly all sounds emitted by an actual truck are reproduced, including the air dryer puff, air exhaust, and brakes. The stop lamps, turn signals, and reverse lights activate automatically according to control inputs, while headlights, fog lamps, and hazard lights can be switched on and off using the transmitter.
