Since capturing the hearts and minds of the automotive world in 1959 and then the racing world in the 1960's, Mini has always kept a high level of popularity. Despite production ceasing in 1971, popularity never declined, and in 1991 a 1.3-liter engine Mini Cooper was unveiled, quenching the thirst of Mini fans all around the world. Keeping the compact form and pleasing performance, the updated Mini was loaded with modern fittings including electronic fuel injection system.

Tamiya brings Mini fans this re-issue of our classic 1/12 scale model kit release.
It includes an updated decal sheet and instruction manual, additional masking stickers and stickers for floor carpet.

• Features authentic depictions of elements such as 1.3-liter inline-4 compact engine, radiator, air cleaner and suspension. The openable hinged hood reveals these elements even after assembly.
• The interior has realistic renderings of dashboard, front and rear seats, door trims, window regulators, and large door pockets.

• Updated decals feature additional roof Union Jack.
